I’m Zachary Scott, the proud owner of ThoroughBred Marketing Solution. I look forward to sharing my story. I hope that you will enjoy getting to know me better.

I grew up in a small town in Ohio called Piqua and went to a small catholic high school. I went on to attend The University of Kentucky and Muskingum University, where I graduated with a degree in public relations.

After college, I moved to Washington, D.C., where I worked on Capitol Hill for a congressman. I enjoyed the work but found it did not align with my long-term goals, so I decided to look elsewhere, choosing the marketing sector as it excited and challenged me. My career in marketing began in Houston, Texas, and I made a stop in Phoenix, Arizona, before coming to Raleigh to start ThoroughBred Marketing Solutions in 2021.

Over the past year, we have expanded exponentially and added exceptional talent and a fabulous client base. As my mentor emphasized people building, and I follow this example and believe in the advantages of valuing my clients, I have seen my practice grow and reach new heights.

My business philosophy is based on always doing my very best for my clients and team.

Why I’ve been successful

As an individual, I believe my three core values of positivity, a superior work ethic, and a student mentality set me apart from others. I attribute my success to my team’s hard work and our excellent support system.

When my team decided to move to Raleigh with me, and we got our first couple of new recruits, this moment has given me immense satisfaction over the years.

During my downtime

I have a few different hobbies and interests when I am not at work, such as playing golf. However, I enjoy hanging out with friends and spending time with family.

I have enjoyed sharing my story about the things which matter to me and how they influence the way I do business.
